Bio: Gabriel Dauchot (b.1927, d.2005) was a French painter and lithographer who's work was Impressionistic, highly linear and emphasized contour, a style inspired by paintings of famed French artist Toulouse Lautrec. Dauchot often painted common people and relaxed street scenes. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'The Butler' sold at Christie's New York 'The Private Collection of President & Mrs. Ronald Reagan' in 2016 for $13,750.
